{I Love You to the Moon and Back}

This is a long overdue post but sometimes life is a little hectic.  :)

Anyway, I did my first engagement shot in April ! SQUEE! I was so happy, nervous, and excited about that. I shoot outdoor most of the time but the couple wanted to do an indoor shoot at a bookstore. Because that's where they met. Yep, I think that's sweet too.

So off I went. I've been to that bookstore hundred times before, but I still arrived 15 minutes early to scout the location. I love this couple. They are so natural! The bride to be used to work in the children section of the bookstore. So I picked up few children books for them to read and one of the books is a children classic book "Guess How Much I Love You." Guess what? The groom to be said, "We actually made 'dog tags' and have our favorite phrase from the book printed on the tags."  What a super nice coincidence.

I truly enjoy taking their pictures and witness their glowing love. My sister saw some of the pics and said, "You captured love." That put a big smile on my face, of course.  :)

To J & R,  I wish you a life time happiness and a never ending love to share. Thank you for allowing me to capture your special moment.

{Ignite May | I'm a Little Hula Baby}

You can not depend on your eyes
When your imagination is out of focus.

Many times, I worry about not getting a tack sharp images and other technical bla bla bla. This time, I decided to just shoot what I see. Gosh, it's a good feeling!

I learned a lot from this session with my daughter. I learned to wait rather than just clicking my shutter. I learned that it is OK to have a different style (blurry and out of focus that is.) I learned to have fun during a session rather than stressing out to get perfect poses. I learned to follow her lead and dancing that is (my husband put on some music on his phone and the rest is truly a good fun!) I learned that it's worth it to nag my husband to get me Lensbaby Edge80. LOL.
